Three absurd images - Creating creative product with logo





Creative task

Analyze Image:

1.       You can see a woman’s face with enrichment around her face. The outside is covered with something that looks like a gardenia. It seems to me that she is trying to see something with no success .Her eyes are telling emptiness and because of the enrichment it seems that she is in a cave. The other possibility is that this woman put her face in this type of masc. so she can look into something. I got this idea because it reminds me of “mirror mirror on the wall” from snow white.


2.       In the background there are dark clouds and the focus is on the middle of the Image. You can see a cloudy way consisting of many numbers and a man who is walking along that “cloudy numbered way”. For me it seems like a way of life. The person is going through his or her life. The numbers symbolize the time of the life so at the end of the road it could be the death. Time is up.



3.       The last Image shows a woman caught in a black fish suit. In my mind she is trying to escape and she did not choose this “body-shape” as her body.
Relationship between the images:
The connection between these three pictures is that everyone is on his/ her own in a very different attitude. In every Image the human body is trying to escape or trying to reach something they don’t know. So I started to think how can I combine them and create a product.

Product description:
This product has a round shape with a round water transparent “mirror” in the middle.
It works like this: you put your face into the transparent wavy Water circle then you open your eyes and a number will show up. The number is really long, you have to try to memorize it, so you can calculate how many days you have left to live. After that, it shows you yourself, covered in an animal suit so you will know as what you will be reborn in your second life.
This product can only be used once and its unmarketable.
Logo:
This Logo shows a branch at the top which should show a 7 if you turn it. The middle part is a cocoon a symbol of rebirth. Out of the cocoon the fish face slip and so the new shape of the second life.
Logo improvment: To create a new and correct logo, MS Elif gave me an idea. So these are my new logos for this product.






 

It shows the infinity symbol, which is formed as a mask. Its like seeing themself diffrently or according to the product in an animal suit.

"Forever" by Mariah Carey

 

In my mind this photo should be a poster advertisement for perfume, which u can not see directly. Starting with the color the designer chose, it is very classy and they fit together. But when it comes to the font, it is very legitimate but not legible at all in my oppinion. It is to thin and you hardly can read the name “Mariah Carey” quite apart from the right side of the poster u can not read anything if you don’t pay attention to it.  You can´t even see that there is something at all because the background has almost the same color as the font color and they get merged. Furthermore the perfume itself is almost unknowable so you don’t know directly that it is a poster advertisement for a perfume. In conclusion I would say that this is a bad product advertisement design because it doesn´t represent the product as good as the person.

“PERFECT MATCH”


This make up is by Loreal Paris and has the title “PERFECT MATCH”.
In my mind the whole product looks very harmonious because they uses just two to three colours for instance the font colour has the same colour as the top of the product. I think the font is simple but very clear, so you can read easily the capital letter of the title. Furthermore the product consist of glass which is transparent so the customers can directly see their individual make-up skin colour, their “PERFECT MATCH” which leads me to the title. Finally I want to highlight the title of the product, which is very catchy so that everybody can find their own” perfect match”. In conclusion the design of the product is simple but all in all a good combination of the colour the cover and the font.
